Support

    Help with NewsCatch

Email contact@newscatch.app and a human replies — usually within one business day, Monday to Friday, European hours.

Include your account email, the workspace or team involved, and what you expected to happen. If it is about a missing alert, the article URL helps a lot.

    Setting up delivery

Both integrations are configured from the Integrations screen inside NewsCatch.

    1. 1

      Slack

Choose Add to Slack, pick the workspace and destination channel, and NewsCatch posts a confirmation message so you can see the alert format.

    2. 2

      Microsoft Teams

Sign in with Microsoft and select a team and channel, or paste a Teams Workflows webhook URL if your tenant restricts app consent.

    3. 3

      Tune the alerts

Set a minimum relevance score, pick instant or digest delivery, and add quiet hours so nothing lands overnight.

    Most common issues

Nearly every support ticket is one of these four.

    • No alerts arriving: the minimum relevance score is usually set too high — lower it and check the Relevant tab
    • Too many alerts: raise the minimum score, or narrow keywords to the specific phrases you care about
    • A source is missing: add it from the source library, or use AI source discovery to find its feed
    • Alerts stopped after a Slack change: reconnect Slack from Integrations, which re-issues the channel webhook

    Disconnecting and deleting data

Stop Slack delivery. Open Integrations and choose Disconnect on the Slack card, or remove NewsCatch from your Slack workspace's app management screen. Either way the stored webhook is deleted and delivery stops.

Stop Teams delivery. Choose Disconnect on the Microsoft Teams card. Stored tokens and webhooks for that project are deleted.

Delete your account. Email contact@newscatch.app from your account address and we delete your account and monitoring data within 30 days. See the privacy policy for what is stored in the meantime.

    A note on AI-generated output

Summaries, relevance explanations and drafts are produced by large language models and can be inaccurate or incomplete. Every alert links to the source article — check the source before acting on or publishing anything generated by NewsCatch.
